Think Cars
Would you rather been seen driving a value Honda or a classy BMW? Well, if you're like most people, the car that you would prefer, if you had the money, would be the BMW. Is it because a BMW is such a unique car that no other car in the world can come close to it? Probably not, at least not in the minds of those people who opt for it. It has more to do with the instant association of wealth and status that driving a BMW confers. They even are referred to affectionately a “beemers” that have such an impact on class consciousness. Well, there is no reason you can't create the same aura of exclusivity around your products and services to help you market them more.
What Makes Your Products Special
The best way to make a product feel luxurious and exclusive is to very explicitly tell everyone about the finest details of this product that make it special. It's really not over the top to talk about the fine silver filligree made in Europe or the special process that went in to creating such a unique and exclusive product. The more you tell people why your product is special, the more they will believe it.
It may seem boring to detail everything from the design of the leather engraving to the special and laborious and perfect cut of a diamond that reflects 72 facets, or whatever. But, really it's not. People who are very into status and image love to hear exactly how this piece is special so they can turn around and tell their friends too. And, hopefully, by doing so you also get some more sales from word of mouth too.
Limit The Product Roll out
Another great way to make your products exclusive is to limit them to a certain number of people. This is done with artist's prints and it helps to spur sales for people who may be sitting on the sidelines thinking the offer will stand forever. Make sure your customers know that this is such a good deal, and only a few select people will get to take you up on it for that promotion. And, if you do make a promise not to roll it out the same way again, whether it's by giving the same price or the same design or whatever, you have to stick to your promise. It's only an exclusive offer if later on you don't offer the exact same offer to someone else and disappoint your earlier customers.
]]>My name is Derek, and I've been an Internet marketer for 4 years now and I want this blog to be a journal of all my marketing experience. Everyday I see men and women trying to start a career on the Internet and the first thing they search for on google is "how to make money on line", or "make money at home".
Well for the past 4 years I've seen experienced marketers scoop up these newbies and start to sell them the wrong products at the wrong time on how to make money. Most often, these poor saps are sucked into fancy sales copies and strategic marketing. Now, I'm not going to say every product you buy on the Internet is a waste of money but 90% of it is and the fact that most people will buy crap and keep anyways is the foundation of most marketing guru plans.
We're all here to make a quick buck, and I've been on the receiving end many times so I'm dedicating this blog to only real money making techniques and I'm going to try to get them all legal methods as well.
So you don't have to be reduced to just writing articles for $7 an hour unless you want to be.
Can you really quit your day job and work full time on the Internet?
Yes, it's not that hard.
Is there a chance of failure? oh yeah..
I'd have to say you have 99% chance of failing for your first year. Sounds encouraging right.. well most people fail on the internet because the perceived notion created by all the copywriters and fancy product launches is that you'll be making 6 figures in your first month. Well and once you fail you'll drop emotionally so low that each time you fail it gets harder and harder to stay motivated. Internet marketing doesn't have the safe security feeling you're so used to, you don't always know when your going to get paid or if you are going to get paid.
When you do become successful after many failed attempts you'll quickly become a lot more wise on how you're spending your money on useless products and understand cashflow management when it comes to advertising spend. You'll be spending less and less time in marketing forums because of the surrounding negitive energy of thousands of broke and mediocar marketers just looking for the next best thing on the market and to leech off others success. While success is usually right under their nose and it comes down to be being persistant, and not letting emotion affect all your marketing dicisions when it comes to purchasing traffic or hiring help. If your not an expert at writing being able to outsource a writer and if your not the best adwords expert being able to outsource the right people.
When it comes to business, success doesn't usually come to the smartest kid in the class, more likely the richest kid in the class is going to be the C student. He's the one who isn't a perfectionist, he's the one who's going to look for the shortcuts, he's the one who's usually thinking 10 years ahead and is getting the A student to do his homework. The A student usually ends up working for the B student managing the store and the C student ends up owning the whole business. Well I was an A/B student, but I wasn't a perfectionist that's for sure, I was a just a bit lucky never really studied or had to, so I still consider myself the laziest guy around and I only want to make money if it doens't take much work.
Let's get to the point of the story, I'm going to be releasing tons of tutorials of my own and those from guests. These are going to help you quit your day job and keep that cash in your pocket. So what's the catch, of course I want to make money and I'll be running offers on the site in form of adsense or cpa offers etc. I'll be covering only material I know which covers affiliate marketing with clickbank, CPA networks, making products, search engine optimizing and building domain name minisites for adsense. I don't claim to be a copywriter so anything in that category I'll have someone in the company to do that for you. Any beginner stuff, most likely will come from private label right ebooks or such so I can spend as little time wasting energy on rehashed information.
So be sure to optin to our email list and you'll be on top of the market in no time.
Derek

So what's the point of building an entire site for one keyword?
1. Having a mini site to generate revenue based on one keywords gives you an advantage over the competition.
2. You will be able to rank in the search engine ranks easily and rank over sites that have more backlinks and content.
3. Having the keyword in the domain will favor your search engine placement.
4. Be able to mass produce mini sites with revenue with minimal effort.
5. To be able to make $100-$600 a month in revenue per domain. After getting about 10-15 domains with this technique you will make between $1000-$10000 monthly.
Keyword requirements for mini site revenue
1. Keywords that get a descent amount of searches 1000 + searches per month
2. Low competition ( first page results in google being a pr2 or pr3 with less than 2000 backlinks)
3. Potential for ad-revenue
We do this with
1. keyword rich domain name
2. Unique content
3. Optimized wordpress blog
4. backlinks
In this tutorial we will be using googles adsense to make money with and here's what we need to do. Find a keyword to base an entire site off this one keyword and that keyword's related terms.
How do we know what keywords to choose from? there's billions of keywords, plus we need to know if they have traffic, if we can obtain high rankings for them and we need to know if we do obtain those first position rankings are we going to make money?
I like to start off by visiting adsenseheaven.com, and I'll purchase an adsense top keyword paying list. I usually get the top 25000 but you can get which ever one you want to get (I don't think it really matters).
I will ignore the top pay 1000 keywords right off the bat, most of the time the first two thousand keywords and you will have to cross reference these keywords with google's keyword traffic estimator using [exact match]
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
when you find a keyword that is getting some volume 2000+ search a month you need to check google's search results.
I use http://tools.seobook.com/firefox/seo-for-firefox.html to tell me the page rank of the site and number of backlinks. Make sure you are using firefox.
When you type the keyword in google check the first three results. If they are pr 4 or higher skip it, if the first result has page links under it skip it, if it is a government site skip it and go to the next keyword. We need to be able to get first position, 58% of all the clicks go to first position, if you do not think we can obtain this then you should skip to the next keyword.
What you are looking for is
1. keyword in the domain name?
2. Keywords in the title?
3. Page rank less than pr 3
4. Inbound links under 1000
We are not concerned with the number of returned results which most people usually say to look for, but we don't care because if the first position is a pr 0 but there is 22 million results. All that means is there is 22 million pages that barely qualify for the result.
Tips on buying a domain -
it can be http://keyword1-keyword2-keyword3.com or http://keyword1keyword2keyword3.com and does not matter if it is .net, .org etc. Get the .com if available because the actual value of the domain name will be more.
You can register at godaddy if you want and also get hosting.
Building a website
I use wordpress because google favors cms systems and you will be able to use the rss feed of your site to get indexed quickly. You can build fast and not worry about html as well.
Use simple layout with minimal pictures as they help promote ad clicking. Use an adsense plugin and some seo plugins ( I put together an easy minisite download).
Write or order/buy 10-15 articles, you can start with 5 if funds are low. But I like to have 10 articles on my sites and have another 5 for building links from article directories. You can easily go to digitalpoint forum and find someone to write articles for you for $1 per 100 words.
Every one of your articles should link back to your main page using the keyword you target as an anchor text. This link back should be found in the first 100 words this way whenever someone scrapes your content or the rss feed it will give you a backlink.
You should be able to get a double listing, this is when google ranks two pages of your site for the same keyword on the first page of google. You can do this by making sure your keywords are in the titles and all your keyword anchor text links back to your home page.
Getting links
We could go on for days about building links. If you have some left over articles, submit some unique content to sites like ezinearticles.com, buzzle.com and goarticles. All the other less quality sites you can use duplicate content. Build a squidoo page, hubpage, wetpaint page with some content linking to different articles within your site. I will do more posts on simply link building, because the process takes a long time and you need to do it at slow pace and steady increase the linking to look natural.
Good luck on building your domain mini sites revenue if you have any questions please comment.
